Amy S. Dufrene, LPC-S, NCC

Amy is the Clinic Manager for Allen Outreach Inc. As an experienced and accomplished clinician, Amy is highly respected by colleagues and clients alike. She has more than fifteen years of experience in working with chemical dependency/addictions counseling. Amy has worked in many venues of addictions counseling including detoxification, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient/outpatient, and drug court with diverse populations. She is responsible for providing oversight into all programs and services at Allen Outreach and she monitors treatment planning, compliance and quality assurance procedures.

Amy is credentialed as a Counselor-Supervisor and as a Nationally Certified Counselor. She provides clinical supervision to Provisional Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPC) working toward independent LPC licensure.  Amy enjoys working with adolescents and college students as well as adults. In addition to providing individual and group counseling, Amy conducts clinical assessments, and provides client education and case management services. Amy conducts Anger Management group sessions each month, and she is responsible for the Intensive Outpatient Program.

Amy’s mission in life is to help people combat the devastating effects of substance abuse and dependency as well as breaking the cycle of abuse. She is extremely passionate, works in-depth with clients and their families, and challenges individuals to change in ways that will allow them to lead a clean, sober, healthy, and productive lifestyle!

She holds membership with the American Counselors Association, American Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors, American Mental Health Counselors Association, Louisiana Counselors Association, Louisiana Mental Health Counselors Association, Louisiana Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors, Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors & Trainers and serves as a board member for the Allen Parish Families in Need of Services (FINS) program.

Scott LeJeune, EdD, LPC-S, LMFT

Dr. LeJeune is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. He conducts clinical assessments and provides individual and group psychotherapy; generally providing services during afternoon and evening hours, or on Saturdays. His practice includes use of appraisal instruments to assess abilities, academic achievement, adaptive behavior, addictions/substance use, education, interests, language, and various screening instruments to diagnose, define therapeutic interventions, and document progress. He carries a small caseload of domestic violence consumers.

His credentials include  a Substance Abuse Specialty Certification from the LA Association of Substance Abuse Counselors & Trainers and  as a Nationally Certified Counselor  with the National Board for Certified Counselors.  Dr. LeJeune practices full-time as a School Psychologist and Supervisor of Special Education/Pupil Appraisal for a school district. He also offers clinical supervision to individuals working toward licensure who are employed at Allen Outreach or the Allen Parish School Board.

Dr. LeJeune is delighted to hold  membership in several organizations including the Louisiana Counseling Association, Louisiana Association of Alcohol and Offenders Counselors, Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors & Trainers, Louisiana Association of Marriage and Family Counselors, Louisiana Mental Health Counselor Association, Louisiana School Psychological Association, and the National Association of School Psychologists

Juanita Moorman, LCSW

Juanita is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.  She holds membership with the National Association of Social Workers.

Juanita is responsible for holding counseling groups with those who have interaction with the Drug Court system in Allen parish.  She has experience with inpatient mental health and substance use treatment, and has worked in the community providing education and treatment for serious and persistent mental illness as well as substance use disorders.



Katelyn Hebert, Administrative Assistant

Katelyn joined the Allen Outreach team in February 2014. She brings over 5 years of office management and customer service experience from her previous employment. Katelyn plays an integral part in the daily operations of Allen Outreach.  She oversees inter-office activities as well accounts receivable, accounts payable, insurance and billing. Katelyn assists clients with orientation, determining which therapist will best serve his/her needs, scheduling appointments, and answering questions.

Herbert Nesom, M.D.

After retiring from a long career in private medical practice, Dr. Nesom, now serves Allen Outreach as part-time Medical Director.  Dr. Nesom reviews client’s medical and substance abuse history, and provides medical oversight of services provided through Allen Outreach.  He participates in the development of facility policies and procedures, and provides consultative services to staff members regarding the health, safety, and medical needs of clients.
